Foodservice Superstore can ship to almost any address worldwide however; online orders can only be placed for customers in the United States.  International orders need to be placed over the phone at 1-877-890-2278. There are also several products that cannot be shipped to international destinations.  Everyone here at Foodservice Superstore also put forth great effort to ensure that all orders are shipped in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. However, we cannot guarantee the delivery date of any order. All orders placed on this site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to our shipping policies. 

Free Shipping

At Foodservice Superstore, we have hundreds of items that ship free within the contiguous United States.  We reserve the right to select the best method of shipment on all orders that qualify for Free Shipping.  Free Shipping items are clearly marked on product pages, in your shopping cart and during checkout.  The Free Shipping offer includes shipping of qualified orders from dock to dock or curbside. Free Shipping does not include additional services such as inside delivery, lift-gate delivery or express delivery. If you require any of those additional services, additional fees will be assessed prior to shipment.

Damaged Items

For comman carrier deliveries - If any part of your order is damaged, note the damage on the delivery receipt/bill of lading while the driver is there. You must be as specific as possible when noting damage. This is crucial in distinguishing if the damage is on the outside of the packaging or if it is on the actual item that you have unpacked in front of the driver. Always take photos of any damage that has occurred to be prepared for an inspection from the freight carrier. Do not throw away any of the original inner or outer packaging.  Contact us as soon as possible.

Our warehouse gives great attention to packaging every order for shipment. Unfortunately damage does occur occasionally during transit and we must go to the carrier company to receive reimbursement for these damages. By signing the Proof of Delivery you are taking responsibility and ownership for the shipment in the condition noted. If part or all of your shipment is damaged and you did not note this in any way on the Proof of Delivery, we CANNOT guarantee any compensation for damages.

For UPS deliveries - If any part of your order is missing or damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order so we can find a solution for you!

Delivery Time

We're dedicated to getting your order to you as fast as possible, so our warehouse strives to have orders processed and ready to ship within one to two business days.  However, some items will be shipped directly from the manufacturer, in which case the delivery times may vary. Common carrier deliveries range from 1 to 10 days for delivery, depending on your proximity to the shipping origin. UPS ground shipping can take anywhere from one to seven days.  All delivery times are estimates.

For additional shipping charges, we can ship your item(s) second day or next day air.  Second Day Air guarantees delivery of your order by the end of the second business day from when the order was picked up from our warehouse by UPS.  Next Day Air guarantees delivery of your order by the end of the next business day after your order was picked up from our warehouse by UPS.  Expedited shipping is not an option for common carrier shipments.

UPS Next Day Air and Second Day Air orders received after 12:00 PM Central Time will be processed on the following business day.

Shipping Errors

Great care is taken when packing your order, but on rare occasions errors may occur. If there is an error with any part of your shipment, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order so we can find a solution for you!

Special Order Items

In order to maximize the products we're able to offer to you, some items on our website are not normally stocked in our warehouses. These items may be shipped directly to you from the manufacturer, or brought into our warehouse with our next stock order from the manufacturer and then shipped to you.  Any Product that we do not stock in our warehouse at the time of your order is considered a "special order" item.  Upon receiving your order for a special order product, we will process and send the order to the factory for manufacturing (if required) and shipping. Special order items will be shipped at the earliest possible date; please refer to the product description for the estimated delivery time. While we make every effort to ensure you receive your order by the soonest possible date, Foodservice Superstore cannot guarantee the timely delivery of any item.

Split Shipments

To save you the hassle of dealing with multiple shipments, we will make every attempt to ship your order in one shipment. If multiple shipments of your order are required, the full amount of the shipping costs will be charged in the first shipment. If you want part of your order sent expedited and the other part sent using standard Ground, please place two separate orders.

Delivery Types

  • Standard Delivery: Standard delivery, also known as curbside or “non-liftgate” delivery, involves the delivery driver pulling the truck to the curb of your business. You will be responsible for removing the merchandise from the truck yourself. The driver is not expected to remove the item from the truck or to bring the item inside. If you do not have a loading dock, or the item is excessively heavy, we do not recommend moving the item without assistance.  If you do not have a "semi-truck high" receiving dock, or own a forklift, you must request a liftgate delivery service at the time of purchase. Liftgate fees are not included in free shipping promotions.
  • Liftgate Delivery: If you have paid for the additional service of liftgate delivery, then the driver is required to lower the item to the ground for you. The driver is not required to remove the item from the truck or bring the item inside. If the truck has no liftgate, please contact us immediately for further instructions. If you have not paid for the additional service of liftgate delivery, you will be responsible to remove the item from the truck yourself.

  • Inside Delivery:  Inside delivery is when the driver brings the shipped items from the truck to the entrance of your building.  Generally this means the items will be brought inside the front or back door - for example, a lobby or back room.  Inside delivery does not include delivery down a hallway or up stairs, installation or setup of equipment.

  • Delivery Appointments: For an additional fee, our freight carriers will call you in advance to coordinate delivery.

  • Residential Delivery: Deliveries made to residential or limited access areas will incur an additional shipping charge. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to identify the shipping address as residential or limited access. Should the shipping information provided to Foodservice Superstore be incorrect, we reserve the right to back charge the purchaser upon receipt of the delivery charges.

If you require methods and/or services not specified above, including but not limited to inside delivery, lift gate delivery, construction site delivery, flat-bed truck delivery, upstairs/high-rise delivery, delivery notification, residential delivery, or date specific delivery, you must contact us for a price quote on the desired additional service(s), as the additional charges vary by manufacturer. The charges for these additional services will be in addition to any shipping charges.

IMPORTANT: You will need to be sure that you have sufficient and proper equipment and personnel to unload products delivered via common carrier, as their drivers are not required to provide assistance in unloading your order.
